Brewer Of The Year 2026

There are 11 competitions included in the circuit for 2026:

  1. CTYW Round-Up (Cowtown Yeast Wranglers – Calgary, AB)
  2. ALES Open (Regina, SK)
  3. VanBrewers Awards (Vancouver, BC)
  4. Aurora Brewing Classic (Edmonton Homebrewers Guild – Edmonton, AB)
  5. National Homebrew Challenge (OHBS – Ottawa, ON)
  6. Sizzlin’ Hop Summer Showdown (Battle River Brewers – Battle River, AB)
  7. M.A.L.T. (MontreAlers – Montreal, QC)
  8. Saskatoon Headhunters Brewing Competition (Saskatoon, SK)
  9. Brew Slam (GTA Brews – Toronto, ON)
  10. Pro/Am Brew Challenge (Winnipeg Brew Bombers – Winnipeg, MB)
  11. Red Deer Brewers Annual Homebrew Competition (Red Deer, AB)

All points are calculated as follows: 3 points for gold, 2 points for silver, 1 point for bronze, and 0.5 points for honourable mention. Best of Show points are not used in the Beer, Cider, Mead, and Club standings, but are tracked separately. Points are only awarded to the main brewer, not co-brewers.
