Homebrew clubs are a great way to get involved with the hobby, and we want to highlight some of the incredible things that clubs are doing by introducing the CHA Homebrew Club of the Year Award.This award recognizes the club that best demonstrates the qualities described in the following categories:
- Diversity & Inclusion
- What efforts does your club make to include people of different backgrounds, genders and ethnicities?
- Education
- What efforts does your club make to teach the art of homebrewing?
- How does your club promote the appreciation of homebrewing and responsible drinking of homebrew?
- Events & Services
- What kind of events does your club run?
- What services do you offer to your members?
- How does your club celebrate Canadian Homebrew Day?
- Outreach
- What does your club do to promote and share the joy of homebrewing with others?
- Size/ Age Relativity
- How many members does your club have (paid/un-paid)?
- How long has your club been active for?
- Overall Impression
- What does your homebrew club mean to you?
- Why should your club win the CHA Homebrew Club of the Year Award?
- Supporting Documents
- Submit up to two pieces of documents to support your application.
- It could be a meeting presentation, photo collage, video, etc.

Notes:
- A homebrew club cannot win two years in a row.
- Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges from the CHA board.
