Canadian Homebrew Day 2019: London, ON

The London Homebrewers Guild was out in full force on June 1st for CHA’s inaugural National Homebrew Day!

The LHG was set up at three breweries throughout London; Diego Garzon/Derek Allen at Storm Stayed Brewing Co, Jason Ferber at Anderson Craft Ales and Oleksiy Zaika at London Brewing. We were visited by many other LHG members through part of the day, and even a special appearance by Kathy Yan Li. Most of our locations had several groups showing interest in the brewing process, some of which are some very promising new members. One visitor actually joined the LHG on the spot!

All three brews were put on without a hitch and in a timely manner. Our members pumped out a Blonde Ale, a Pilsner and a Belgian Wit. We’re already looking forward to participating in the 2nd annual National Homebrew Day, along with whatever new events the CHA comes up with!

The LHG wants to thank the CHA for setting up Canada’s 1st National Homebrew Day, and London’s local breweries for hosting us!
