On April 15, 2020, we had Nathan Smith from Prairie North Cider on to chat about cider making! Nathan Smith is a Certified Cidermaker through the Cider Institute of North America and the head cidermaker at Prairie North Cider, a cidery startup in Edmonton. With his background in prairie horticulture and love of homebrewing, Nathan has focused on combining traditional cidermaking techniques with new experimental methods that help address some of the challenges and reveal the opportunities in working with local fruit.
