Natural Fermentation and Ageing of Wines and Cider in Qvevri by James Miziolek—CHA Speaker Series

On February 9, 2023, James Miziolek was our speaker for our February Speaker Series. He did a presentation on Natural Fermentation and Ageing of Wines and Cider in Qvevri.

James is passionate about all things fermentation, especially wine and food. He has been making wines in BC for 7 years after transitioning from being a Sommelier at some of Vancouver’s top restaurants. James began his winemaking career at Tantalus Vineyards in Kelowna and later became the Cellar Master for Mount Boucherie Estate Winery in West Kelowna and concurrently Rust Wine Co. in Oliver. He is now the Winemaker at La Fabrique St. George in Vancouver.
